The driving musical force in Karl-Johan’s orchestrations is the power of melody & the sence of sheer joyfull “musicianship”. Not to mention the fireworks of orchestral effect!

With Stockholm, Sweden as homebase, focus lies on orchestrating for the musical theatre as well as for film & show-business in general. Karl-Johan has delivered musical arrangements for most of Swedens top artists, as well as international stars.

Being a fiddler from early childhood Karl-Johan possesses a thorough understanding of the string-section, which have earned him a respected reputation as orchestrator for strings.

The creative aim is to always produce an orchestration that highlights the musical heart & message of the song/compostition with the forces of melody, harmony & orchestral color, no matter the size of the orchestra at hand and without ever forgetting the performing musicians, producing parts that’s intended to fit the performer like a glove.

Karl-Johan studied at Royal College of Music, Stockholm & College of Music in Piteå, Sweden.
